Jamaal's experience working with healthcare organizations in matters related to physician/hospital alignment and medical group operations makes him a trusted advisor to providers that are navigating the complexities and opportunities of health reform. Jamaal has facilitated a number of important engagements pertaining to the development of comprehensive physician compensation frameworks that align incentive structures with value-based reimbursement mechanisms. Recently he led the development of a revised compensation structure that aligns primary care physician incentives with patient-centered medical home concepts for a large community hospital. He also assisted a two-hospital health system in the integration of a recently acquired multispecialty group; as part of this effort, he served as the interim Director of Revenue Cycle and Front-End Clinic Operations for the physician enterprise.
